Frank Edward Ferro

Frank Edward Ferro, age 84, of Bel Air, MD passed away on February 7, 2013 at his home. Born in Dundalk, MD, he was the son of the late Hugo Angelo and Louise Elizabeth Chester Ferro. A veteran of the U.S. Marines, he served our country for 25 years. During WWII he participated in the occupation of Japan and China. He also served in Korea and Vietnam. He was awarded the Navy Commendation and Republic of Vietnam Medal of Gallantry, and was a member of the U.S. Marines Tankers Association. He has been a Harford County resident for 63 years and enjoyed working on cars, as he was a Master Mechanic, was always ready to lend a hand and belonged to the Oriole Ramblers RV Club.

Mr. Ferro is survived by his wife of 63 years, Betty L. Ferro; son, Marc Ferro and wife, Cynthia of Lake Worth, FL; brother, William Ferro and wife June of Dundalk; sister, Elizabeth King of Reisterstown; grandchildren, Michael Ferro and wife, Christina of Dundalk, Gabrielle A. Ferro and Dominique M. Ferro, both of Gainesville, FL; and three great grandchildren.
