Frank Diangelo

Frank DiAngelo, 88, of Bel Air, MD passed away on July 17, 2015 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in York, PA, he was the son of the late Bernard and Annette Marie (Corsa) DiAngelo. He graduated from York Catholic High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, a graduate of Gettysburg College and received his Masters Degree from the University of Delaware. He had worked at the Commercial and Savings Bank in Bel Air and retired, after 30 years of service, from the Harford County Board of Education where he was a school principal at Old Post Road Elementary and Darlington Elementary. Prior to that he taught at Bel Air Elementary School. He was a member of the Edgewood Lions Club, Knights of Columbus and the Sons of Italy. He loved history, was an avid golfer, and enjoyed ballroom dancing and carving and painting ducks.

Mr. DiAngelo is survived by his wife of 62 years, Jean (Peshok) DiAngelo; son William A. DiAngelo of Havre de Grace; daughters, Cheryl J. Billett of Parkton and Anne M. Mounts of Dallastown, PA; brother, Ronald L. DiAngelo of York, PA; 11 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Bernard F. DiAngelo Jr.
