Frank "Chip" George Wanek III, age 48, of Forest Hill, MD, died on October 6, 2008 at his home. Born in Cumberland, MD, he was the son of Betty June Eddins Wanek of Bel Air, MD and the late Rev. Frank George Wanek Jr. A lifetime Harford County resident, he worked in the travel industry as an owner/operator of Towson Travel. He collected sports memorabilia, and was a loyal Ravens, Orioles and Terps fan. An avid Harley-Davidson cyclist, he also enjoyed scuba diving, fantasy football, fresh and saltwater aquariums, and traveling the world; especially Punta Cana.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Wanek is survived by his wife of 28 years, Stacey A. Wanek of Forest Hill, MD; two daughters, Jasmine J. and Sierra J. Wanek, both of Forest Hill, MD; a sister, Diana Jan Wanek of Hull, MA; his father-in-law, Albert Seybrecht and mother-in-law, Marian Seybrecht, both of Joppatowne, MD.
