Frank Charles Rose Sr.

Frank Charles Rose Sr., age 75, of Edgewood, MD, died on October 1, 2010 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Francis Charles Rose and Mary Saranda Nickey Duvall. He retired, after 45 years, from Sparrows Point where he was an instrumentation technician. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Corpus Christi Council in Edgewood, and Local 2610 where he was past president of the United Steel Workers Union Hall. A member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church, he enjoyed Ravens football, spending time with his pets, and especially the time spent with his family.

Mr. Rose is survived by his wife of 56 years, Sarah Ann Warren Rose, of Edgewood, MD; sons, Frank C. Rose Jr. of Perryville, MD, Daniel P. Rose and Bryan M. Rose Sr., both of Edgewood, MD; daughter, Sally A. Trout of Abingdon, MD; sister, Janet M. Blaney of Sykesville, MD; nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
