Frank Albert Gegorek

FRANK ALBERT GEGOREK, age 75, of Abingdon, MD, died on October 4, 2007 at Harford Memorial Hospital, Havre de Grace, MD. Born in Baltimore City, MD, he was the son of the late Frank A. and Agnes Bundy Gegorek. A Harford county resident for twenty five years, he retired from Western Electric where he was an installer. He was a veteran who served our country in the U.S. Navy and was a member of the VFW 5337 Post in Abingdon, as well as, the American Legion Post 17 in Edgewood. In 1963, he was on the Colts farm team known as the Broncos. He enjoyed boating and his steamed crabs, and was the owner of the Double Crescent Marina on Bear Creek in Dundalk. He loved his three grandchildren and his three cats, Nosey, Bootsy, and Taz. He enjoyed football, NASCAR, and antique cars.

Mr. Gegorek is survived by his wife of twenty years, Carol D. Otto Gregorek of Abingdon, MD; two daughters, Deanne C. Schildt and her husband, Jim A. Schildt, of Baltimore, MD, and Joanne M. Cantler and her husband, Tony Cantler, of Abingdon, MD; one sister, Agnes Lipinsky of Baltimore, MD; three grandchildren, Steven A. Cantler, Kara M. Cantler, both of Abingdon, MD, and Emily F. Schildt of Baltimore, MD; two nephews and one niece.
