Francis "Frank" J. McLhinney

Francis "Frank" J. McLhinney, age 82, of Joppa, Maryland, passed away on January 17, 2025. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of Francis and Catherine (Goldsborough) McLhinney and the beloved husband of Nora McLhinney.

Frank was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force, dedicating part of his life to serving his country. A passionate sports fan, he cheered enthusiastically for the Baltimore Ravens and Orioles, always staying loyal to his hometown teams.

Frank had a gift for connecting with people and was well-liked by everyone he met. His warm personality and kind heart left a lasting impression on friends, neighbors, and family alike. Above all, Frank was a family-oriented man who cherished every moment spent with his loved ones.

In addition to his wife Frank is survived by his four daughters, Kelly McLhinney, Judy Bekowitz, Alison Turnock and her spouse Jim, Tracey Butler; son, Tim Vales; sister, Rosalie Houck and her spouse Bob; niece, Lisa Charles and her spouse Robert; great-niece and nephews, Hannah, Cameron, Dominik, and Robert Jr.; six grandchildren, Shawn, Aaron, Jordan, Alissa, Gabby, Danny; six great grandchildren, Brandon, Elizabeth, Emily, Brittany, Gregory, Blake; and two great great grandchildren, Nyomi, and Clover. Frank is also survived by George Meekins and Dan Meyler who were like brothers to him.

In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by son-in-law, George Butler, sister, Kathy McLhinney, and brother, Larry McLhinney.
