Francis J. Rufe

Francis J. Rufe, age 79, of Abingdon, Maryland passed away on March 13, 2018 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, Maryland. Born in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, he was the son of John M. and Ellen (Keenan) Rufe. He was employed as a manufacturing engineer in the Aerospace Industry and had worked on the vertical launch system for the government. He was a fan of the Philadelphia Eagles.

Mr. Rufe is survived by his wife of 10 years, Janice Rufe; two sons, John P. Rufe of Manchester and Paul F. Rufe of Dundalk; stepchildren, Dennis B. Barrett of Glen Burnie and Cheryl A. Bright of Abingdon; 8 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
