Francesca ''Fran'' R. Knauer

FRANCESCA "FRAN" R. KNAUER, age 58, of Bel Air, MD, died on March 31, 2008 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of Rose Marie Brusio Stefanoni of Whiteford, MD and the late Angelo Stefanoni. She was an avid bingo player and enjoyed spending time with her dogs, Shiloh, Luke, and Petey-Darcy. A member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Forest Hill, she was very devoted to her family. She loved flowers and gardening, and enjoyed all types of wildlife.

In addition to her mother, Mrs. Knauer is survived by her husband of 38 years, Joseph S. Knauer Jr. of Bel Air, MD; two daughters, Natalie Ann Fender of Bel Air, MD, Rachel Marie Bittner of Delta, PA; two brothers, Carlo L. Stefanoni of Bel Air, MD and Dominic A. Stefanoni of Whiteford, MD; two sisters, Angela M. Baur of Joppa, MD and Michele A. Fleischmann of Whiteford, MD; mother-in-law, Mary E. Knauer of Bel Air, MD; and six grandchildren, Josephine L. Fender of Bel Air, MD, Hannah E. Bittner of Delta, PA, Aaron N. Fender of Bel Air, MD, Joseph D. Bittner of Delta, PA, Nathaniel T. Bittner of Delta, PA, and Philip A. Bittner of Delta, PA.

Pallbearers will be Neil Bittner, Stanley "Pete" Burton, Dominic Stefanoni, John Baur, Curt Baur, Steven Knauer, Alan Fleischmann, and Carlo Stefanoni.
