FRANCES O. TURNER, of Bel Air, MD, age 80, died on Saturday, April 9, 2005 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air. Born in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Lester and Lela Oakley O’Briant.
After moving to Maryland, she was employed by the City of Baltimore as Administrative Director of Disability Compensation. She and her surviving husband of 50 years, Robert B. Turner, have resided in Bel Air since 1957. She was a homemaker and mother of two sons, Mark Edward Turner and James Douglas Turner, both of Bel Air. She is also survived by three nieces and two nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Thomas Lester O’Briant, Jr. of Easton, MD, and one sister, Alva O’Briant Orr of Hendersonville, North Carolina.
Pallbearers were: Dr. Bart Kreiner, Jim Spicer, Paul Boin, Paul Boin, Jr., Henry Himpler, and John Strawbridge, Jr.
