Frances Marguerite Jenkins Stagnoli (Marg), 77, of Bel Air, MD, passed away after a ten year fight with cancer on March 13, 2016 at home with her family by her side.
Marg's life was an example to all of her love for her family. This was demonstrated in her 58 year marriage to her husband, Arnold, and the raising of her children, and her siblings.
She graduated from Southern High School in 1957 and remained friends with some of her classmates over the years and thoroughly enjoyed the reunions.
Marg loved her work at USF&G in Baltimore, Maryland, from 1959 to 1964 when she left to devote herself full time to raising her family.
Marg coached girls' softball, volunteered at her children's elementary school and went back to work after her youngest grew and enjoyed part time employment with WaWa until her retirement in 1995.
She enjoyed bowling for ten years with her league and meeting friends for lunch at Bel Air Bowl. Marg never missed a televised Orioles game.
Survivors include her husband Arnold Stagnoli of the home; daughter Sonya Stagnoli (Paul Christie), grandchildren Benjamin & Isabella, Philip (Amanda) & Julianne (Trey); and son Jeffrey Stagnoli (Nicole) and grandchildren Brayden & Kristina. Brother Ronald Lee Jenkins (Bertha) and their families and several beloved sisters-in-laws, brother-in-laws and lots of nieces and nephews who meant the world to her. Marg & Arnold also have a special place in their hearts for her brother, Randy Jenkins (Heidi Ankeny) and sister, Charlotte Jakubiak and their children and grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Nemours Center for Childhood Cancer Research on Marg's behalf at 1600 Rockland Road, Wilmington, DE 19803.
The family extends deep gratitude to Season's Hospice, RN Sheila Dunmire and CNA Sakena, and a sincere appreciation to her doctors whom she cared a great deal for: Dr. McClure, Dr. Harley, Dr. Rao & Dr. Perry who worked to give our family more time with our partner, mom, and grandmom.
