Frances M. Bowman

Frances M. Bowman, age 82, of Bel Air, MD, passed away on July 22, 2012 at her home. Born in Valley View, PA, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin Wilbur and Merle Seiler Zerbe and wife, for 38 years, of the late V. Eugene Bowman. A resident of Harford County for 50 years, she was a member of the American Legion, Moose Lodge, VFW, Lions Club and was a lifetime member of the United Methodist Church. She sold Avon products, Charles Chips and Pretzels, worked at Bel Air Elementary School in the cafeteria and was devoted to doing lots of volunteer work.

Mrs. Bowman is survived by her sons, Benny Bowman and fiancée, Pamela Hilt, of Aberdeen, MD and Andy Bowman and wife, Kim, of Bel Air, MD; daughter, Betsy Hopkins of York, PA; brothers, Henry Zerbe and wife, Grace, of New York and Jesse Zerbe and wife, Jeanette, of Valley View, PA; sister, Patsy Zerbe of New York; five grandchildren, Stephen Hopkins and Andrea, Aron, Emilie and Johannah Bowman; two great-grandchildren, Tyler and Tony; and her trusty companions, Snoopy and Peaches.
