Forrest "Tim” Pullman Cole, age 85, passed away peacefully at home with family on December 15, 2021 in Bel Air, MD. Born in Fall River, MA to Edwin and Marylove (Pullman) Cole, he grew up in Assonet, MA and graduated from Dighton High School. He went on to receive a bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts and pursue a business career.
After leaving New England, the family settled on Long Island in Centerport, NY for 25 years where they formed lifelong lasting friendships. Later in life, Tim & Kathy relocated to Chestertown, MD on the Eastern Shore to be closer to family and stay near the water, eventually moving to Bel Air in recent years. He adored his two grandchildren and developed an active interest in sports when they began playing baseball, soccer, field hockey and lacrosse. Tim was also an avid classic car enthusiast, enjoyed gardening and was a keen "do it yourselfer,” always tinkering with projects.
He will be profoundly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Kathleen, daughters Valerie Cole of Minneapolis, MN and Stefanie Cole Thomas of Bel Air, MD, along with son-in-law William Thomas of Bel Air and grandchildren, Jacob and Emily Thomas.
In lieu of flowers, the family would be grateful for donations to be directed to the Chesapeake Bay Trust.
