FLOYD DALE PERRY, age 81, of Bel Air, died in Citizens Care Center in Havre de Grace, on February 13, 2004. Born in Grassy Creek, Virginia, he was the son of the late Millard F. and Sarah E. Smith Perry. He had retired from the Daiger Corporation, after 37 years, where he worked as a carpenter. The family said he enjoyed gardening, yard work, and watching the Orioles baseball games on T.V. He was very handy with tools, and could make or repair practically anything. But most importantly, he became a born again Christian in March 1957 and spent the remainder of his life serving the Lord and being involved in church related activities. He was a member and a deacon of Harford Furnace Baptist Church for many years. He was a faithful Sunday School teacher there for 35 years. He currently was attending Harmony Baptist Church.
Mr. Perry is survived by his wife of 63 years, Hazel B. Sage Perry; one daughter, Barbara K. Custis of Abingdon; two grandchildren, Heather L. Stolte of Abingdon; Kimberly M. Wilson of Milton, Delaware; three great grandchildren, Timothy C. Stolte, Jr. of Abingdon; Allison E. Wilson of Milton, Delaware; and Jacob T. Stolte of Abingdon.
Pallbearers were: Harold Kilby, Eric Rhodes, Sid McMillan, Brian McGrady, John Custis, and Jack Nelson.
