Flossie E. Edwards

Flossie Evelyn Edwards of Abingdon, Maryland passed away on February 1, 2012 at Hart Heritage Assisted Living in Forest Hill, MD. She was 86. She was the daughter of the late Benjamin Harrison Eller and Leona Minton Eller and was born on October 23, 1925 in Purlear, NC.

She was a Budget Analyst at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Edgewood Arsenal, for over 30 years. She graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School, Ferguson, NC. She enjoyed traveling with her late husband and many friends to locations both abroad and within the United States. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, flowers and ceramics. She was a member of Maple View Baptist Church and the Fraternal Organization of the Order of the Eastern Star, Bel Air Lodge #44.

She was predeceased by her husband, Clifford Edwards, two sisters, and five brothers. She is survived by her brother, Warren G. Eller of Forest Hill, MD; brother-in-law, Donald G. Edwards and wife of Dublin, MD, along with many nieces and nephews.
