Florence Startz

FLORENCE STARTZ, age 82, of Edgewood, MD, died on December 1, 2007 at Lorien Nursing and Rehabilitation in Belcamp, MD. Born in Ely, MN, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Katherine Snyder Startz. She was a proof reader for the FBI where she also wrote articles for the FBI magazine. She retired from that organization in 1996, after 52 years of service. She loved music, photography and writing, and was a published writer. A kind and generous person, she was very much loved by her family.

Ms. Startz is survived by a sister, Margaret Maguire of Culpepper, VA; one niece, Catherine Ann Johnson and her husband, Eddie, of Edgewood, MD; and a nephew, Michael Maguire and his wife, Lynn, of Pittsburgh, PA. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, Fred Startz and Joseph Startz.
