FLORENCE MAY PETERSON
Florence May Dahler Petersen died peacefully on November 17, 2003 at her daughter's home in Fallston at the age of 93.
She was born October 12, 1910, on a farm in Fork, MD, to the late John Henry Dahler and Ida May Isenock Dahler.

May, as friends knew her, was a talented embroiderer, who enjoyed sewing elaborate tablecloths, table runners, and pillowcases for family and friends for many years until her eyesight failed. She was also an accomplished baker, who was best known for her homemade bread, apple dumplings, and ginger cookies. In her later years, she enjoyed traveling on bus trips with friends.
In addition to her two daughters, Mrs. Petersen is survived by three granddaughters; Deborah F. Parrish of Bel Air, Judith F. Mandell of Sarasota, FL, and Terri F. Berg of Hudson, IN and four great-grandchildren; Gordon and Bethany Parrish of Bel Air, Michelle Thomas of Fawn Grove, PA, and Lisa Thomas of Elverson, PA.
