Florence G. Bryant

January 26, 1926 — March 22, 2011

Florence G. Bryant, age 85, of Abingdon, MD, died on March 22, 2011 at her home. Born in Bad Axe, MI, she was the daughter of the late Charles Fredrick and Norma Flora Reidel McLean and wife of the late William Lee Bryant. She had worked for Michigan Bell as a lead telephone operator for over 10 years after high school before moving to Maryland around 1958 with the love of her life, where she raised her family. A charter member of Christ Our King Presbyterian Church, she was an excellent cook and most known for her baking. She loved nature, especially birds, was an expert cross stitcher and loved cats.

Mrs. Bryant is survived by her sons, Paul J. Bryant of South Lake Tahoe, CA and Bruce W. Bryant of Baltimore, MD. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her daughter, Charla L. Bryant and siblings, Kenneth, Donald and Charlotte McLean.
