Ferdinand Charles Krahn

FERD C. KRAHN, age 83, of Bel Air, died in Mariner Health of Bel Air on May 23, 2003. Born in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Henry Matthews and Catherine Elizabeth Kraning Krahn. He had retired from his job as an engineer for the Glenn L. Martin Co. He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church. He was an avid gardener and record collector. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during WW II.

Mr. Krahn is survived by his wife of 60 years, L. Mae Trader Krahn; one son, Rev. Dr. John H. Krahn of Long Island, New York; one daughter, Jane L. Kerr of St. Joseph’s, Missouri; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
