Felicia Irwin Jackson, age 92, of Bel Air, MD, passed away on March 18, 2014 at Bel Air Assisted Living in Bel Air, MD. Born in Bel Air, she was the daughter of the late Felix Mack Irwin Sr. and Maye Hoppers Irwin and wife of the late Andrew Orestes Jackson Jr. For 50 years, she owned and operated, along with her husband, Jackson TV Repair and Sales in Bel Air. A member of the Soroptomist Club, she was active with the Inner Wheel and the Bel Air Rotary with her husband. She was also a member of Mt. Carmel Primitive Baptist Church and was the last member alive when it was constituted. She enjoyed playing golf and was a member of the Maryland Golf and Country Club.
Mrs. Jackson is survived by her son, Andrew Felix Jackson of Bel Air; daughter, F. Jeane Plumer of Bel Air; sister, Jeanette Irwin Sims of College Park; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brother, Felix "Bud" Mack Irwin Jr., and sisters, Juanita I. Scarff, Eva Sue I. Cronin, Jean Irwin and Rose I. Hasty.
Pallbearers will be her nephews, Kim, Drew and Chris Sims, Gary Irwin and Craig Cronin, and grandsons, Andrew and Scott Jackson, Andrew and Christopher Plumer.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Mt. Carmel Primitive Baptist Church, 1707 Churchville Road, Bel Air, MD 21015.
