F. James Norris

F. JAMES NORRIS, age 72, of Bel Air, died at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center on July 10, 2004. Born in Bel Air, he was the son of the late James Edgar and Nellie A. Jaworsky Norris. A lifelong Harford Countian, he attended St. Margaret as a child and was a member of the last graduating class from the Old Bel Air High School in 1949. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. He worked as a milkman for Sealtest delivering milk across Harford County. He also sold cars for Bel Air Motor Sales and served as a roofing foreman for the Board of Education. He loved spending time at his condominium in Ocean City where he was considered the mayor of 144th Street. He was truly a Good Samaritan.

Mr. Norris is survived by his wife of 51 years, Joan Dolores Fleming Norris; three sons, Jay Norris of Street; Roy Norris of Joppatowne; Ron Norris of Street; two daughters, Deborah A. McNally of Adelphi; Danelle D. Koster of Abingdon; two sisters, Kathy Wright of Belcamp; Trudy Hutcherson of Salisbury; and six grandchildren.
