Evelyn Rhudy Johnson, 92, of Bel Air, MD, passed away on February 8, 2015 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air. A resident of Harford County for most of her life, she was born in Spring Valley, VA. She was the daughter of the late Fielden Crockett Rhudy and Erna Ruth Thomas Rhudy and wife of the late Ernest Graham Johnson. She was the joint owner and operator, for 40 years, of two prominent Bel Air businesses. They were C.D. After retiring from business in 1982, she enjoyed traveling the world with her husband and friends. She was a volunteer with the MS Bowling Group in Bel Air. She was actively involved with Liriodendron in Bel Air serving as a docent for the facility for several years; she was an avid reader who often boasted that she had held an active library card with the Harford County library for over 75 years; and was an accomplished artist who spent many years after retirement learning to capture the beauties of life and nature on canvas with her palette of oils, acrylics, and watercolors.
