Evelyn May Sterne

EVELYN MAY STERNE, of Joppa, MD, died on April 28, 2006, one day after her 89th birthday, at her home. Born in Cleveland, OH, she was the daughter of the late William and Katherine Niedhamer Sterne. She was a bookkeeper for the old Chesapeake and Ohio railway, now part of CSX. She moved to Maryland from Ohio in 1966 to accommodate her job with the railroad. She was a member of Towne Baptist Church since 1966, and was a Sunday School teacher there.

Miss Sterne is survived by her caretakers, Michelle and Mark Connor, and their two children, Chelsea Kurek and Corbin Connor, all of Joppa, MD, and many friends.
