Evelyn M. Greenfield

Evelyn M. Greenfield, 96, of Severn, MD, passed away on September 20, 2017 at the Rebecca Fortney Care Center in Pasadena, MD. Born in Abingdon, MD, she was the daughter of Harrison and Elizabeth Susannah (Anderson) Gross and was the wife of the late Clarence H. Greenfield. Formerly of Joppa, she moved to Severn nine years ago to live with her daughter. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and enjoyed handwork and sewing. She was a very accomplished seamstress making all of her daughter’s dresses for special occasions. She also spent her time listening to books on tape.

Mrs. Greenfield is survived by her daughter, Peggy Anne Natwick and son-in-law Richard Natwick of Severn; sisters, Alva Whitt of Petaluma, CA, Joann Jandro of Tampa, FL and Genieve Hutson of Joppa; grandchildren; Jill Lydic of Hendersonville, NC and Dwayne Natwick of Commerce Township, MI; and great-grandchildren, Austin, Jenna and Aidan Natwick.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Harrison Edward Gross; and sister, Elizabeth Kelly.

Services will be private.
