Evelyn Day

On January 1, 2012, Evelyn L. Day, was the guest of honor in a glorious reception with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was 70. Born in Whitetop, VA, she was the daughter of Carrie Catherine Walker Royal of Aberdeen, MD and the late Freeman Royal, and wife of the late Johnnie H. Day. She worked for Bata Shoe Company for over 35 years and for the Harford County Board of Education for eight years. She loved the outdoors, gardening, word searches, and reading God's word of which she read through three times. She was a member of Bel Forest Baptist Church for over 35 years and was highly devoted to family and her grandson, Noah, who was the love of her life.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by son, Tony H. Day and wife, Sabrina, of Aberdeen, MD; brothers, Leroy and Jesse Royal; sisters, Nancy Royal, Judy Lassiter, Retha Dollinger and Dortha Coffin; and one grandson, Noah Day.

Pallbearers will be Bryan Balla, Brian Stanley, Alan Flaugher, Donald Creek Jr., Butch Henderson, and Carl Kurnas.
