Eva W. Edwards

Eva Hendrix Edwards, of Bel Air, MD, died on October 23, 2009 at Forest Hill Health and Rehabilitation Center in Forest Hill, MD. She was 94 years old. Eva was born March 31, 1915 in Alleghany County, NC, to Elder and Mrs. Gordon C. Hendrix. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by three brothers, Truly L., Clive T.E., and C.J. Hendrix, and two sisters, Maxine H. Badger and Nina S. Pruitt. She worked for Kroh's Cleaners for over 30 years, and was a member of Baptist View Church in Forest Hill, where she attended church faithfully until she entered the nursing home in December 2000. She was very active in the Senior Center in Bel Air and enjoyed painting, sewing, knitting, and traveling.

Ms. Edwards is survived by her sons, Paul C. Edwards Sr. and wife, Lucilda B., of Acworth, GA and David V. Edwards Sr. and wife, Gloria J., of Whiteford, MD. Also surviving are four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Ruby Adams and Ruth Hendrix, both of Winston Salem, NC, Juanita Magness of Bel Air, MD, and Virginia Whetzler of Laurel, DE; and brothers, Ralph L. Hendrix of Darlington, MD, and Gordon C. Hendrix Jr. of Winston Salem, NC.

Pallbearers will be David V. Edwards Jr., Darren Vaughn Edwards, Brian Hendrix, Rob Duffy, Randy Whetzler, and Paul Edwards Jr.
