Eva H. Osborne

EVA H. OSBORNE, age 87, of Churchville, MD, died on August 20, 2008 at Harford Memorial Hospital in Havre de Grace, MD. Born in West Jefferson, NC, she was the daughter of the late George and Bertha Mae Roten Welch and wife of the late Harold A. Osborne. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church since 1955 and had worked over 30 years in their nursery where she loved the children. She was a homemaker for most of her life and traveled with her husband.

Mrs. Osborne is survived by her daughter, Patricia Lynch of Belcamp, MD; four sisters, Ruth Dickson of Jefferson, NC, Faye Kindle of Coshocton, OH, Lorene Johnson of Lancaster, PA, and Nancy Pace of Abingdon, MD; six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by two sons, Joseph Osborne and Edward Rash, and three brothers, Reuel Welch, William Welch, and Lowell Welch.

Interment was in Bel Air Memorial Gardens in Bel Air, MD.

Pallbearers were Chris Lynch, Bill Welch, Jim Welch, Gary Welch, Dave Jennings, and Bill Jacobs.
