Eula M. Mackey, age 79, of Knippa, TX, died on December 20, 2009 at her home. Born in Chicago, IL, she was the daughter of the late William John and Frieda Lydia Kessler Morris and wife of the late Don Mackey who she married on April 12, 1952. She was a member of Churchville Presbyterian Church where she was a deacon and choir director. She also worked in the Churchville Presbyterian Church Day Care Center which she helped to establish. A Den Mother for the cub scouts, she also was a member of the Sweet Adelines Upper Chesapeake Chapter, amongst others.
Mrs. Mackey is survived by her sons, D. Steven Mackey and wife, Niloufer, of Kalamazoo, MI and Gary Alan Mackey and wife, Laura, of Boston, MA; daughter, Kathy Lynn Mackey of Delta, PA; brother, William J. Morris Jr. and wife, Mary, of Denton, TX; sisters, Mary Anne Fortune and husband, Jerry, and Linda Lee Littleton and husband, Bobby Jett, all of Knippa, TX; two grandchildren, Stephanie L. Borgal and husband, Ethan T., and Nicole L. Mackey, all of Delta, PA; and two great-grandchildren, Melanie L. and Piper L. Borgal both of Delta, PA. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brother Robert E. Morris.
