Eugene Bedard

Eugene Bedard, age 82, of Edgewood, MD, passed away on February 3, 2016 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the son of the late Grady Bedard and Ada (Riles) Bedard. He was the devoted husband for 53 years of the late Terry E. Bedard. He retired from the U.S. Army in 1976 as Sergeant First Class after 26 years of service. He was a member of the Aberdeen VFW Post 10028 and an enthusiastic member of the VFW Pittsburgh Steelers Club.

Mr. Bedard is survived by his sons, Kenneth R. Bedard of Waverly, VA and Jeffery L. Bedard of Perryville and his daughters, Donna E. Bedard of Edgewood, Cheryl E. Bedard of Beltsville, MD and Jeannie C. Bedard of Edgewood. He was known as Pap Pap to his grandchildren, Katrina M. Bedard, Keshia J. Bedard, Jayden R. Bedard, Jordan C. Bedard, Micah Moore, Michael Bedard, Steven Bedard, and Joshua Bedard, and to his great-grandchildren, Keasia E. Goodman, Khesani Bedard, Kiana R. Saunders and Kamaran B. Harcum. He will be missed by his brother-in-law Billy J. Bowen, his sister-in-law Virginia R. Boldon, his (almost) children Jeanette Jennings and Richard Breault, and a large number of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
