Ethel May Van Atta

ETHEL MAY VAN ATTA, age 79, of Havre de Grace, died in Citizen’s Care Center on March 28, 2003. Born in Cortland, New York, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Stull, and the wife of the late Herbert Eugene Van Atta. She was a medicine aid for private health care.

Mrs. Van Atta is survived by two sons, Lynn Hammond of Alabama; John Hammond of Cortland, New York; two daughters, Deborah Wassum of Aberdeen; Linda Greggory of Cortland, New York; 10 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by two sons, Fred Hammond and Richard Hammond.

Pallbearers were: Duane E. Wassum, Danny L. Wassum. Darin M. Wassum, and James Langer.
