ESTELLA MAE BAKER, age 64, of Edgewood, MD, died on October 17, 2007 at her home. Born in Jenkins, KY, she was the daughter of the late Rev. John Davis Bentley and the late Della Mae Mullins Bentley. She was the wife, for 20 years, of the late Richard Baker. She was a teacher of cosmetology and a member for many years of The Church of God of Prophecy in Brooklyn, MD, where she was a devout minister, missionary, and prayer warrior.
Mrs. Baker is survived by one son, John D. Bentley Shaw and his wife, Roberta L. Shaw, of Edgewood, MD; one daughter, Della M. Bentley Stewart of Winston-Salem, NC; three brothers, Gary E. Bentley of Abingdon, MD, Jimmy N. Bentley of Bel Air, MD, and Jack D. Bentley of Darlington, MD; two sisters, Dorothy L. Parks of Colora, MD; Della C. Cillo of Darlington, MD; four grandchildren, George D. Foster Jr, Estella M. Horn, Shawna M. Conley, and Heather L. Shaw; four great-grandchildren, Nicholas A. Horn, Jackson A Horn, George D. Foster III and Amelia Conley; and former husband of 19 years and loving friend, Louis L. Shaw of Colora, MD. Mrs. Baker was predeceased by her brother Jerry L. Bentley, and two sisters, Sandy L. Baker and Grace D. Clarke.
