Erwin Weisser

ERWIN “OPA” WEISSER, age 67, of Elkton, MD, died on October 26, 2007 at Union Hospital in Elkton. Born in Karlsruhe, Germany, he was the son of the late Erwin J. and Louisa Herlan Weisser. He was a master automobile mechanic and a world class Skat player. He enjoyed building doll houses and was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a member of the Delaware Saengerbund.

Mr. Weisser is survived by his wife, Barbara Weisser of Elkton, MD; three children, Heidi Louise Weisser and her partner, Dana Lozey of Parkville, MD, Bridgett Harris and her husband, Larry Harris Jr., of Elkton, MD, and Larsen J. Weisser and his wife, Melissa Weisser, of Elkton, MD; one sister, Ingrid Riehl of Germany; and five grandchildren, Miranda Ellen Harris, Sarah June Harris, Stephen Larsen Weisser, Kayla Love Weisser, all of Elkton, MD, and Emma Lozey of Parkville, MD.
