ERNIE PETERS, age 52, of Joppa, died in Lorien Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Riverside on March 14, 2003. Born in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Frank Isiah, Sr. and Lillian Catherine Chase Peters. He worked as a custodian for the Harford County Public Schools at the Edgewood Elementary Building. A lifelong resident of Harford County, he was a member of the Multiple Sclerosis Society. A graduate of Edgewood High School in 1970, he loved sports and played football while attending high school. He attended Almost Family and was also a member of New Covenant Church in Joppa.
Mr. Peters is survived by two brothers, Maurice E. Peters and his wife, Christine Peters of Joppa; Willie N. Peters of New York; two nieces, Deneen Peters; Shakira Peters; and one great-niece, Jada Pace. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one brother, Frank I. Peters, Jr.
Pallbearers will be friends of the family.
