Ernest Milton Tracey, Jr

Ernest Milton Tracey, Jr., age 85, of Jarrettsville, Maryland passed away on December 15, 2024, at FutureCare – Northpoint. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of the late Ernest Milton Tracey, Sr. and Doris (Stinefelt) Robinson and husband of Carol (Pickle) Tracey. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Ernie worked as a carpenter and was a member of the Carpenters’ Union for over 40 years. He also served as a Hospital Tech at both Fallston General Hospital and Upper Chesapeake Medical. Ernie was a Lifetime Member of Jarrettsville Fire House, a member of the Airforce National Guard, a member of the Harford County Fireman Honor Guard Unit, and previous Scout Master of Troop 809. 

In addition to his wife, Ernest is survived by his daughter, Lora Holloway; son, Clifton Tracey; stepdaughter, Denessa Fruhling, and her spouse Tom; stepson, Mark Grubb, and his fiance Linda; grandchildren, Kinsey LeBrun, Austin Tracey, Cliff Tracey, Matt Tracey; step grandchildren, Tyler Grubb, Alyssa Fruhling, Kayla Ciparik; and 4 great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Ernest was preceded in death by brother, Robert Tracey, sons, Ernest M Tracey III, Robert Tracey, William Tracey, daughter, Sherilyn Ebersole and step great grandson, Jace Fruhling.

Visitation will be held under the caring guidance of the family owned and operated McComas Family Funeral Home, Jarrettsville, Maryland on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, 7 - 9 pm. Services will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2024, at McComas Celebration of Life Center at 10:00 am. Interment will take place in Bel Air Memorial Gardens.

The family asks that contributions may be made to Jarrettsville Fire House, 3825 Federal Hill Rd, Jarrettsville, MD 21084 in lieu of flowers.
