Ernest Irving Sheppe, Jr.

ERNEST IRVING SHEPPE, JR., age 83, of Joppa, MD, died on July 29, 2006 at Franklin Square Hospital in Baltimore, MD. Born in Richmond, VA, he was the son of the late Ernest Irving and Margie I. Giles Sheppe. He served his country in WWII. Mr. Sheppe worked as an accountant for the CSX Railroad for 37 years. His family said that he enjoyed music, playing the violin and spending time with his grandchildren.

Mr. Sheppe is survived by his wife of 56 years, Rosalie Harlow Sheppe of Joppa, MD; three sons, Ernest Irving Sheppe III of Fallston, MD, and William Thomas Sheppe and Charles Ray Sheppe, both of Joppa, MD; four daughters, Janice Lee Sheppe of Riverside, MD, Deborah S. Adkins of Bel Air, MD, Mary S. Anson of North East, MD and Ann Gutierrez of Middle River, MD; one sister, Margie A. Yeatts of Danville, VA; five grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
