Ernest ''Ernie'' Rizzuti

ERNEST "ERNIE" RIZZUTI, age 77, of Bel Air, MD, died at Stella Maris Hospice, Timonium, MD on May 7, 2008. Born in Newark, NJ, he was the son of the late Santo Ernest and Rosa Theresa Costa Rizzuti. An assistant director in health care, he moved from the Poconos to Harford County in 2005 and enjoyed fishing, boating, and reading. He served in the M.A.S.H. unit of the Army during the Korean Conflict.

Mr. Rizzuti is survived by his wife whom he married in 1952, Astrid Rizzuti of Bel Air, MD; a son, Ernie Rizzuti and his wife, Joanna Rizzuti, of San Rafael, CA; a daughter, Robbie Svoboda and her husband, Gregory S. Svoboda, D.V.M, of Monkton, MD; a brother, Fred Rand of TX; and five grandchildren, Chad G. Svoboda of Williamsburg, VA, Kristy L. Svoboda of Midlothian, VA, Christopher Rizzuti, Nicole Rizzuti, and Sophia Rizzuti, all of San Rafael, CA. Also survived by nieces and nephews.
