Ernest Clinton Winfield

Ernest Clinton Winfield, age 62, of Joppa, MD, died on July 18, 2010 at Gilchrist Center @ GBMC in Baltimore, MD. Born in Chicago, IL, he was the son of Geraldine Loretta Milligan Winfield of Washington, D.C. and the late George Ernest Winfield. A veteran of the U.S. Marines, he served our country during Vietnam as an E5 Sergeant and later worked as Chief Software Engineer for the Social Security Administration in Woodlawn, MD. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed traveling.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Winfield is survived by his wife of six years, Cathy L. Buecker Winfield of Joppa, MD; daughters, Kimberley A. Grasty and husband, Timothy, of Willow Grove, PA, Tanya Maria Winfield of Los Angeles, CA and April Nicole Harrison and husband, Robert L., of Abingdon, MD; sister, Monica Winfield Hayes and husband, Oliver Sr., of Ferriday, LA; grandchildren, Abrielle and Timothy Grasty of Willow Grove, PA and Taylor A. Champ and Leilani Harrison, both of Abingdon, MD; and one great grandchild.
