Erma J. Deisroth

Erma J. Deisroth, age 77, of Joppatown, MD, died on August 31, 2009 at her home. Born in Belsano, PA, she was the daughter of the late William R. and Della Jane Folckemer Bracken. She provided child care in her home for many years in addition to being a full-time homemaker. She was a faithful volunteer at the Bel Air Church of the Nazarene for over 40 years where she taught children's Sunday school and nursery, and sang in the choir. She also enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Mrs. Deisroth is survived by her husband of 50 years, Charles Deisroth of Joppatown, MD; daughters, Kathy Yacovone and husband, Chaplain Paul Yacovone, of Spanaway, WA and Carol Ott and husband, Greg, of Sykesville, MD; brothers, Dean Miller of Allentown, PA and Wayne Miller of Monticello, FL; sisters, Daryl Christner of Mt. Vernon, OH, Stella Dieterly of Lynn Haven, FL and Kay Taylor of Delta, CO; and grandchildren, Julianne Walker and husband, Jonathan, of Appomattox, VA, Rachael and Joshua Yacovone, both of Spanaway, WA, and Anneliese and Ryan Ott, both of Sykesville, MD.
