Eric Leroy Webber

Eric Leroy Webber, age 60, of Bel Air, Maryland passed away on July 11, 2023 at his home. 
Born in Cumberland, Maryland, he was the son of the late Herman and Frances (Parker) Webber and husband of Schelly Jean Webber. He was an active member of the Crossroad’s Community Church where he served in the Athletic Ministry, was an Usher, and the Head Shepherd in the church's Living Nativity every year. He was a 1980 graduate of Fort Hill High School, Cumberland MD, and a graduate of Frostburg State College. He taught for 33 years in Baltimore County as a Physical Education teacher at the high school level. He was a beloved football coach and mentor. His family and grandchildren were the loves of his life.
    
In addition to his wife Eric is survived by his sons, Benjamin Eric (Tina) Webber, and Daniel Brant Webber; sisters, Shannon (Steve) Bailey, and Lisa Webber-Painter; grandchildren, Logan Robert Webber, and Olivia Frances Webber; mother-in-law, Nancy Brant; Sister-in-law, Jody Steckman; nephews, Jared Bailey, Adam Bailey, Drew Painter, and Nathan Steckman; nieces, Jennifer Barnes, and Sara Steckman. 

A Celebration of Eric’s life will be held on July 29, 2023 at Crossroad’s Community Church, 2810 12 Stones Road, Bel Air Maryland 21015. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM followed by the service at 12:00 PM, 

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Crossroad’s Community Church in Eric's honor, and sent to 2810 12 Stones Road, Bel Air, Maryland 21015. It was Eric's prayer to see the Athletic Ministry grow.
