Emylon W. Bodt

October 28, 1921 — June 22, 2006

EMYLON W. BODT, age 84, of Havre de Grace, MD, formerly of Churchville, MD, died on June 22, 2006 at the Citizens Nursing Home in Havre de Grace, MD. She lived in the Brightview Assisted Living Center in Bel Air, MD for about 4 years before transferring to the Citizens Care Center. Born in Avon, SD, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Lena Sattler Weddell, and the wife of the late Norval Taylor Bodt. She was retired from the Aberdeen Proving Ground. Mrs. Bodt and her husband were among the founders of the ARC of Harford County, where her son was a cherished and loved resident for many years. She was a member of the Churchville Golden Age Club, the American Legion Post in Bel Air and the Otter Point VFW Auxiliary. Her family said that she loved playing cards and bingo.

Mrs. Bodt is survived by one sister, Bernice Wood of Athens, GA; and nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Bodt was predeceased by one son, Richard Donald Bodt and one brother, Clifford Weddell.
