Emma M. Carr (nee Mogg), age 86, of Bel Air, MD, died on August 30, 2011 at Gilchrist Center in Towson, MD. Born in Overlea, MD, she was the daughter of the late George and Helen Maud Smith Mogg. She was Past Grand Chaplain of the Grand Chapter of MD OES, and in 1974 was Worthy Matron of Harford Chapter #83 OES in Bel Air. She was an active volunteer at Bel Air United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir and worked with Manna House. She had also been a volunteer at Fallston General Hospital.
Mrs. Carr is survived by her husband of 62 years, Wilbur F. Carr of Bel Air, MD; daughters, Kathleen R. Carr McLaughlin and husband, M. Kennedy, of Laurel, MD, Patricia A. Carr Ryan and husband, Michael J., of Perry Hall, MD, and Linda L. Carr Martin of Henderson, NV; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Wilbur J. (Jack) Carr; brothers, John T. and George Richard Mogg; and sister, V. Ruth Beaver.
