Emma Lou Chambers

Emma Lou Chambers, age 90, passed away in her home in Havre de Grace, MD on September 19, 2012. She was born in Alleghany County, NC on September 16, 1922, to the late William and Blanche Bedsaul. Originally from Forest Hill, MD, she was the wife of the late Rothales B. Chambers and Robert G. Dowell. She was a homemaker, a great Southern Style cook and enjoyed bluegrass and country music.

Mrs. Chambers is survived by her son, David G. Dowell and wife, Trina, and grandson, Eric Dowell, of Havre de Grace, MD; brother, Dwight M. Bedsaul of White Hall, MD; and sister, Joyce Ames of Alexandria, VA; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husbands, she was predeceased by her brothers, Clyde H., Earl D., Clifford L. and Pearl Bedsaul; and sister, Retha M. Mays.
