Emma Kemberling

Emma Kemberling, age 81, of Reisterstown, Maryland passed away on June 15, 2020 at Joyous Living in White Marsh, Maryland. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of Ralph and Lizzie (Brown) Fitting and wife of the late Edward G. Kemberling. She was a member of Northwest Baptist Church from 1978 to present where she was a Sunday school teacher, VBS Director, Children Church Leader, taught Women’s Bible Study and Lay Counseling. Emma started and ran the church library and did birthday parties for Jesus for community kids. She was also very active with the Alpha Pregnancy Center.

Emma is survived by her daughter, Melissa Grohman and son-in-law, Chris Grohman of Kingsville, MD; grandchildren, James Grohman, Molly Brady (Zach), Madison Crouse (Matthew), Abigail, Elizabeth (dec.), Tobias, Racquel, Audrey and Benjamin; great grandchild, River and many nieces, nephews and family.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Iley (Delores).
