Elwood Kenneth Collar Sr.

ELWOOD KENNETH COLLAR SR., age 82, of Aberdeen, MD, died on October 10, 2007 at his home. Born in Clearfield, PA, he was the son of the late Lewy Collar and the late Margaret Haynes, and husband of the late Barbara Vonderheid Collar. A veteran, serving during WWII and the Korean conflicit, he retired from the U.S. Army after 20 years. He worked for Chrysler in Newark, DE, where he was an inspector, retiring after 23 years. He enjoyed fishing and NASCAR.

Mr. Collar is survived by one son, Elwood Kenneth Collar Jr. of Aberdeen, Maryland; and three brothers, Pete Collar of West Virginia, Nelson Collar of Phillipsburg, Pennsylvania, and William Collar of Florida.
