Elsie Thompson

ELSIE WLADKOWSKI-THOMPSON, age 90, of Bel Air, MD, died on April 11, 2008 at Bel Air Health and Rehabilitation in Bel Air, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late John and Cecelia Urbanowski Rybicki and wife of the late Alexander Wladkowski. She grew up in Baltimore and then moved to Bel Air in 1981 where she worked at Modern Formal Wear in the Harford Mall as a seamstress. Her family said she enjoyed her garden.

Ms. Thompson is survived by a son, David Wladkowski and his wife, Alice, of Perry Hall, MD; a daughter, Adele Poole and her dear friend, John Kursch, of Bel Air, MD; a brother Stephen Rybicki of Bel Air, MD; two sisters, Jenny Sokal of Port Richey, FL and Rita Augustyniak of Salisbury, MD; two grandchildren, Amanda Brown of Abingdon, MD and Kevin Wladkowski of Perry Hall, MD; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a granddaughter, Dawn Poole.
