Elsie ''Sis'' Lorraine Burns

Elsie "Sis" Lorraine Burns, age 80, of Bel Air, MD, passed away on February 11, 2016 at her home and was surrounded by her loving sons (Clarence N. Burns Jr. and Ronald L. Burns) and daughter (Sherri Burns Comer). Sis was the loving, faithful wife of 52 years to Clarence N. Burns Sr., who preceded her in death in 2008.

Born June 25, 1935 in Havre de Grace, MD to George Homer and Elsie Elliott Horner. Sis was a homemaker and stay at home mom in her earlier years and always loved taking care of her home as long as she was able. She enjoyed flower gardening, shopping and mostly spending time with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and other dear family and friends.

Sis is survived by her three children, sons, Clarence N. Burns Jr. and Ronald L. Burns and daughter, Sherri L. Burns Comer and son-in-law David Comer; sister Beverly Dodson of Aberdeen; brother, Calvin Homer of Florida; grandchildren, Jeremy Burns and wife Amy, Joshua Burns and fiancée Heather Fowler, Christopher Burns, Benjamin Comer, Jacob Comer, Meghan Fulton, Morghan Fulton; 8 great grandchildren, Cameron Burns, Mackenzie Burns, Madison Burns, Jasmine Burns, Lilly Burns, Brooklyn Burns, Kaelyn Burns and Ava Burns; and former loving daughters-in-law, Sherre Fulton and Lynne Burns-Kobo.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by siblings, Robert Homer, Timothy Homer and Melody Homer Messerall.

Pallbearers will be Clarence N. Burns Jr., Ronald L. Burns, Jeremy R. Burns, Joshua L. Burns, Christopher N. Burns, Cameron Burns, Benjamin D. Comer and Jacob D. Comer.
