Elsie "Dellie" Meyer

Elsie "Dellie" Meyer, age 88, of Peoria, Arizona, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2024, at Litchfield Park Assisted Living.

Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Dellie was the beloved daughter of the late Harry and Elsie (Dotten) Matter. She was the devoted wife of the late Leo Meyer, Jr. Dellie was a cherished member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church - Hickory for over 50 years, where she dedicated her time teaching Sunday School and participating in the "Getting to Know Christ" group.

Dellie had a zest for life and enjoyed bowling, cooking, gardening, and spending time at the casino. Her warm spirit and loving nature touched the lives of all who knew her.

Dellie will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her love for her family and friends, and her passion for her hobbies. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, generosity, and devotion.

Dellie is survived by her daughter, Maryanne C. Curfman, son, Leo G. Meyer and grandson, David Meyer.

In addition to her husband and parents, Dellie was preceded in death by son, John D. Meyer, grandchildren, John D. Meyer, Jr., sister, Mary Barsotti & Barbara Farley, brother, Henry Matter, sister, Roberta Silver & Marilyn Scott.
