Elmer Ray Hendrix

E. Ray Hendrix, age 55, of Perryville, MD, died on November 8, 2008 at his home. Born in Sparta, NC, he was the son of Lena Faye Holbrook Parthree of Aberdeen, MD and the late Herbert Clifford Hendrix. A veteran of the U.S. Marines, he was a member of the American Legion in Perryville and the Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed motorcycles and loved the Redskins and Ravens football teams.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his son, Jonathan R. Hendrix of Rosedale, MD; daughters, Jacklyn R. Hendrix of Joppa, MD and Brandi Schneider of Spring, TX; brothers, Terry Hendrix of Virginia, Tony Hendrix of Aberdeen, MD and step-brother, Guy Parthree of Darlington, MD; sisters, Linda Hendrix Klock of Arizona, Sandra McAmis of Longview, TX, step-sisters, Brenda Roberts of Delta, PA and Wanda Garrison of Havre de Grace, MD; and one grandchild. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by a sister, Donna Hendrix, a brother, Cary Hendrix, and step-father, Ralph Parthree.
