Elmer Coy Fritts Jr.

Elmer Coy Fritts Jr., age 77, of Abingdon, Maryland passed away on July 1, 2017 at his home. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of Elmer Coy and Antoinette Veronica (DiClementi) Fritts. Elmer was often described as a gentle giant. He was a down-to-earth man who was loved by neighbors and lived a simple life. His passions were country music and building street rods and motorcycles with his son. He was a devoted husband and father who endured much suffering and pain to spend every last breath with his cherished family.

Mr. Fritts is survived by his wife, Barbara A. Fritts; children, Bud Fritts (Birgit), Stephanie A. Noto (Maurice), Antoinette V. Norris (Robert J.), Barbara A. Fritts (Robert Aylor) and Tonya Fritts; sisters, Josephine Cayer, Frances Blackburn and Margie DiClementi; grandchildren, Derek and wife, Sherry, Vincent, Skyler and Samantha; and great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Victoria and Jaxson.
