Ellsworth L. "Buzz" Foley

Ellsworth L. "Buzz" Foley, age 87, of Abingdon, MD, passed away on December 27, 2012 at Stella Maris in Timonium, MD. Born in Harrisonburg, VA, he was the son of the late John Stuart and Mary Ellen Painter Foley. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served our country during WWII. He had worked as a Lab Technician for Western Electric and was a member of Cokesbury United Methodist Church, the American Legion Bernard L. Tobin Post #128 in Aberdeen, the Masons Lodge #184, and a longtime member of the American Pioneers which is a group for AT&T employees. He loved to garden, camp, play cards and eat his wife's cooking.

Mr. Foley is survived by his wife of 47 years, Kathleen L. Knotts Foley; sons, Robert Michael Riggs of Dundalk, MD, Charles A. Foley of Los Angeles, CA, Wesley S. Foley and Ellery B. Foley, both of Ellicott City, MD; grandchildren, Scott Riggs, Wendy Marcellino, Andrea Foley Trujillo, David, Jessica, Brian, Zachary and Nathan Foley; and great-grandchildren, Michael, Jake, Jessica and Jenna Riggs, Megan and Sarah Marcellino and Samuel Ringrose. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, John A. Foley; and sister, Trudy Foley Gochnour.
