Ellen Sis E. Parks

March 1, 1925 — February 26, 2005

ELLEN “SIS” E. PARKS, age 79, of Abingdon died at University of Maryland Medical Center on February 26, 2005. Born, raised and lived on the same property her entire life, she was the daughter of the late William Benjamin and Emma Fredericka Bearch Rinehart, and the wife of the late L. Claude Parks. She had retired after 27 years with the Harford County Public Schools where she worked as an instructional teacher’s aide. She was a member of the Bel Air Senior Center and sold needlework at the Bel Air Farmers’ Market.

Mrs. Parks is survived by one son, Gary W. Parks of Winfield, Pennsylvania; one daughter, Cheryl Parks-Weidley and her husband, George Weidley, Jr. of Parkville; and one sister, Betty Jane Rinehart of Abingdon; and niece, Nancy Parks Dieter and her husband, Albert Dieter, and their son, Keith T. Dieter all of Abingdon.
